You should get this product for yourself, but if not, at
least get it for your loved ones and their peace of mind while you’re out
running.
You may not think so at first, but running is a dangerous
sport. Have you ever run at night
because that’s the only time you had during the day to run, or because it was
too hot during daylight hours? Have you
ever gone for a run when it is really hot and or humid outside? Have you ever been out running and a thunder
and lightning storm came upon you so suddenly that you couldn’t get to
shelter? Have you ever gone running in
snow or ice? Have you ever run down a
busy street because there wasn’t anywhere else to go? If you said yes to any of these, you’re like me - and you need
Road ID.
In my younger days, I was a bit reckless - running on
winter days when the mail truck couldn’t make it up my street, going out in
excessive heat, and running in lightning storms that had lightning touch down
in the field next to me once. And my
poor parents were always terrified that something awful would happen to me and
I would be stuck miles from home without any identification. My girlfriend’s family practically begged me
to bring some form of identification with me, but being difficult, I responded
that I wouldn’t bring anything that would be a burden to my running - typical
runner mentality.
But then I found out about Road ID, and I instantly
decided to give their identification products designed for athletes a
chance. Of the four different styles
(the fixx, the shoe, the wrist, and the ankle), I chose the one that straps
into your shoelaces, the least cumbersome.
This model is nice because you can slide the Velcro strap underneath
your laces even if you’ve already tied your shoes. When I went for my first run with the Shoe ID tag, I somewhat
expected the metal tag to bounce around on the outside of my shoe, but because
of its design, it didn’t move at all. I
was also impressed with the amount of information that could fit on a small ID
tag. They put my name, address, and
phone number on the small metal tag and still had room for me to put a quote of
my choice on the plate.
The Shoe by Road ID is not something that will wear out
after a few weeks or months. The tag
itself is made out of stainless steel, so the letters won’t fade or wear
down. The Velcro strap is very sturdy,
and is good for a lifetime of running.
In fact, their workmanship is of such high quality that Road ID
guarantees that their products will never wear out through natural wear or they
will replace them for free. This means
that you are getting a great value for your dollar. But that’s not the only way you’ll save money at Road ID - you
don’t have to pay sales tax, and shipping is free on orders.
Now that I have Road ID, everyone is better off. I can enjoy my runs a lot more knowing that
my loved ones aren’t losing sleep at night worrying about what will happen if I
get into an accident on a run. And I
also know that I will be taken care of quickly and expeditiously in a medical
facility if I manage to get into trouble while out running.

worthwhile investment on the market for runners, or something that more runners
have neglected in the past. This is a
must have for every runner!
